WEITZ’ special projects group targets new business with keyhire
Addition of industry veteran, Jim Tyler, adds support to interior projects business
DENVER, Colo – August 5, 2008 – The Weitz Company, a premier national contractor with more than 153 years experience, announced today the hiring of Jim Tyler as senior business development manager. He brings more that 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry having worked for companies such as Coldwell Banker, Trammell Crow and CB Richard Ellis.
“Jim’s hire will support Weitz’ commitment to find new solutions for our clients needing speed and specialized skills for their projects,” said Bill Hornaday, president of the RockyMountain region. “He will leverage his distinctive insight from working with tenants to focus on securing fast-track, unique tenant interior projects.”
Tyler is a Colorado native and has focused his career on cultivating relationships within the commercial real estate industry. This includes founding several lead generating groups to connect professionals in the Denver metro area for new business. These groups still exist, but are now facilitated through outside sources, as Tyler is focusing on his new role with Weitz.
