The Weitz Company, General Contractors Move to Lenexa
Overland Park, KS – The Weitz Company, is relocating its Kansas City operations from Corporate Woods to Pine Ridge Office Park near I-35 and 87th Street in Lenexa, Kansas.
“Thanks to tremendous growth over the past two years, we are expanding our operations and have nearly doubled the size of our office space at the new location,” said Radd Way, president of Weitz-Kansas City. Greg Swetnam and Jim Gates with Kessinger/Hunter & Company negotiated the new lease agreement.
Headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, The Weitz Company has been building in the Kansas City area for more than 20 years and opened its Kansas City office in 2000. Weitz-Kansas City was recently awarded construction of the new Marketing/Sales Center for John Deere in Olathe, Kansas. Other projects include work at John Knox Village, One Park Place, numerous military projects and work at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
